According to BallotPedia: In the United States, a ballot measure is a law, issue, or question that appears on a state or local ballot for voters to decide. There have been statewide ballot measures in each of the 50 states. Citizens can collect signatures to place laws on the ballot in 26 states. Changing a state constitution requires a ballot measure, whether a citizen or legislative proposal, in 49 states. Delaware, where no public vote is required for the legislature to amend the state constitution, is the exception.

2020 U.S. State Ballot Measures
As of August 24, 2020, 120 statewide ballot measures had been certified for the 2020 ballot in 34 states
Three measures were on the ballot on March 3. One measure was on the ballot on April 7. One measure was on the ballot for the Oklahoma election on June 30. Two measures were on the ballot for the Maine election on July 14. One measure was on the ballot for the Missouri election on August 4. The remaining 112 measures are on the November 3 ballot.
