social work votes: making it happen in your agency

Voter suppression in the US removes the right of people to vote, typically the people that social workers serve. Social workers must work collectively in their organizations and agencies to develop practices that support the people they serve in exercising their right to vote.

This video-recorded workshop, led by Professor Estades and Dr. Robertson from the Columbia School of Social Work, addresses the barriers people face in voting and proposes a model for social work agencies to implement that will help integrate voter access into an agency’s day to day practice.
