SOCIAL WORK VOTES AND MAKE THE ROAD PENNSYLVANIA

Join Social Work Votes for nonpartisan phonebanking to mobilize voters in Pennsylvania, in partnership with voter mobilization organization Make the Road PA. The volunteer session will begin with a brief orientation starting at 12 pm ET on how to use the phonebanking platform ThruTalk.

Make the Road Pennsylvania is a member-led community organization that builds power for justice with Latinx and working-class people in Pennsylvania, both during and outside of the election cycle. (Se Hace Camino Pennsylvania se dedica a la organización de la clase trabajadora en comunidades Latinos, organizando poder para lograr justicias.) The organization focuses on advancing change around immigration reform, healthcare, the fight for a $15 minimum wage, voting rights, and more. This election season, Make the Road PA is particularly focused on engaging low-propensity voters and voters of color, and aims to call 2 million and text 500K voters in Pennsylvania.
